Join us for this free community event that introduces families to the adventure of Scouting through a fun, interactive, and community-focused experience!
Fired Up for Scouting brings together local Scouting units and community organizations to showcase the many opportunities available to youth in Anne Arundel County. Families will have the chance to meet Scouts and volunteers, participate in hands-on activities, and connect with the public safety professionals who serve our community.
We're proud to partner with the Anne Arundel County Police Department, Anne Arundel County Fire Department, Anne Arundel County Sheriff's Office, Office of Emergency Management, Anne Arundel County Department of Health, and Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks, all of whom will be on-site with booths, vehicle displays, demonstrations, and opportunities to engage with families.
Local Scouting units will also be hosting interactive activities such as Gaga Ball, Raingutter Regatta, campfire with s'mores, backpack packing demonstrations, tent pitching, and other fun outdoor experiences that give families a taste of what Scouting is all about.
Whether you're already involved in Scouting or simply looking for a fun family outing, there's something for everyone at Fired Up for Scouting!
