The Wauseon Chamber is once again hosting the Firecracker 5 – 5K Run/Walk on Thursday, May 15th at 6pm!This is a family-friendly event that raises funds to help support our fire department and their efforts every year to put on our city's annual fireworks display. If any of your businesses would like to sponsor this event, the cost is only $100 which gets your businesses name on the back of every dri-fit running shirt, plus on the banner that will hang on the fence downtown at Sullivans, and at the start and finish line.
This is one of our lowest cost events to sponsor, and one of the most well-received that we host every year. We always received so much appreciation from the community, as well as the fire department for helping to raise funds.
We know every small business is stretched thin and exhausted from donation request, after donation request. We just want to express our gratitude to our members for helping us give back to our community and members every time you are able to. We understand that is not always the case and appreciate the collective effort it takes to make events like this one successful year after year.
