Fire Pit Friday returns to Tom Lee Park with a new, festive twist!
Join Memphis River Parks Partnership every Friday in December at Visionary Grove—located on Riverside Drive just south of the green roof at Beale Street Landing (look for the Ben & Jerry's truck)—from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. to celebrate the holiday season. Cozy up by the fire with festive treats, holiday tunes, salsa moves and if you’ve been nice, some magical Santa sightings.

Friday, 12/6 - Storytime with Santa 🎅

Friday, 12/13 - Salsa by the Fire 💃
Santa returns with friends from the Rumba Room for a fiery night of salsa. Enjoy a salsa lesson and lively performance beginning at 5:30 p.m. Perfect for all levels, this holiday salsa celebration will keep you warm even on a chilly night. (Photos with Santa start at 4:45 p.m.)
Friday, 12/20 - Ugly Sweater Night 🎄
It’s Santa’s last stop at Tom Lee Park before the North Pole, so bring your best ugly holiday sweater for a night of festive fun. (Photos with Santa start at 4:45 p.m.)
Friday, 12/27 - Wishing Fire 🔥
Close out Fire Pit Fridays with a serene evening by the fire. No Santa, no s’mores—just a warm fire and community vibes to reflect, connect and write wishes for the new year.
Limited free s’mores will be available at the first three events, so arrive early to enjoy this treat. Guests are welcome to bring (and share) their own s’more ingredients—skewers will be provided.
