About this Event
Fire cider is a cherished folk preparation - a slow infusion of warming herbs, roots, spices, and vibrant plant allies in tangy apple cider vinegar and honey. Spicy, sweet, and deeply nourishing, this traditional remedy supports immunity, digestion, and overall vitality throughout the colder months. It’s a staple in many kitchens for good reason!
During this workshop, we will chop, grate, and prepare some of nature’s most potent antimicrobial and immune-supporting plants while learning about their medicinal properties and why they shine in this infusion. You’ll leave with hands-on experience, a deeper connection to herbal medicine, and a remedy you crafted yourself.
$40 per person includes:
• A reusable mason jar filled with your own infusing fire cider
• A sample of pre-made fire cider to take home
• Detailed instructions for straining and finishing your batch
• All ingredients and materials
• The joy of making medicine in community
• The knowledge and confidence to continue this tradition for years to come and to pass it on to your loved ones
Please bring:
• Yourself
• A notebook and pen for jotting down the recipe, notes, and steps
Come tap into your medicine-making abilities and celebrate the wisdom of simple, accessible herbal remedies.
