Learn about the birds in your neighborhood by joining the Capitol Park Bird Talk and Walk. Meet at 13th and Capitol Avenue in the park grounds at 9:00am for a brief talk before we walk through Capitol Park searching for resident and migratory birds.
This will help beginning birders participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count held every February.
No bird watching experience is necessary. Bring a hat, binoculars and a bird book, if you have them available.
Registration is recommended, but not required.
