Fire Cider Workshop

Join us for a Fire Cider Making Class hosted by Angela De Nigro--Bump and Balance. Some fresh organic ingredients will come from her garden! Angela will walk you through the process of making fire cider, an immune-supporting herbal infusion made with apple cider vinegar, onions, garlic, ginger, horseradish, peppers, herbs and citrus. The focus is wellness through the everyday stressors of life, with plenty of room to customize your jar to fit your taste and needs.
The class will cover a history of fire cider, the purpose of various ingredients, and how to adapt recipes at home. You will make your own jar during class and take it home with you. Fire cider is often used in folk traditions to support digestion, immunity and respiratory health. It also shines in the kitchen and can be a great addition to soups, sauces, and salad dressings.
Cost is $5 per jar to cover supplies for each jar you make and take home. Donations are also welcome and appreciated.
You will leave with your own freshly made jar of fire cider and the confidence to keep the tradition going at home. Come learn, laugh and create something powerful for your pantry and your well-being.
