Fire Cider Workshop & Pop-Up Herb Pantry

Newhall Fields is thrilled to offer our seventh annual Make Your Own Fire Cider workshop led by our community herbalist and perennial grower, Rebecca Ingalls and local herbalist Kasey Sampson.

Join us at the farm Sunday October 18th to gather in community to share in the herbal bounty from this season at the farm.

Participate in the Fire Cider Workshop, where you are able to preserve the harvest by crafting your own custom infused vinegar Fire Cider tonic blend from roots, vegetables and herbs grown right here at the farm. All supplies including jars, instructions and ingredients will be provided. Workshop will run 2pm - 3:30pm.

This event is $40 suggested donation for the Fire Cider Workshop only - in order to cover the cost of materials and supplies- but our events are all sliding scale. Please feel free to choose the option that works best for you, including if you are a Card 2 Culture member.

Also happening at the farm — open to all, no registration necessary will be a Pop-Up Herb Pantry & Market in the herb house from 1pm - 4pm for those who would like to restock their home pantry. We will have dried herbs- grown organically, harvested ethically, dried sustainably, and processed by Newhall Fields volunteers and staff, with the utmost care.

Also featured all day: herb garden open house, tea blending station, and a Q&A session to connect with our community herbalist, Rebecca Ingalls.
