Fire & Ice - Ice Skate & Donate

Join Cornerstone Lutheran Church Eagle Creek on Saturday, January 31st, from 4-8 p.m. for free ice skating, fire pits, and plenty of holiday cheer! This event, dubbed “Fire and Ice,” includes a 24′ x 48′ ice skating rink with lights and music, and will also feature portable fire pits and warm drinks (coffee, tea, hot cocoa).

Fire and Ice ultimately benefits Fast Track, an organization run through Brownsburg Community School Corporation. While the event itself is free, we ask that you donate school supplies for Fast Track if you’re able. As a multisite ministry, our theme for Christmas this year is “Giving Christmas Away”—and it’s our goal to do just that by donating in-demand school supplies to students in need in the community.

Fast Track means so much to our community—it truly helps local families ensure their students start the school year equipped and confident. Having new backpacks, fresh supplies, and haircuts makes such a positive difference for students as they begin a new year of learning. To give you a sense of the organization’s impact:

• In July 2024, the Fast Track Event was able to help 1,393 students.
• In July 2025, the Fast Track Event was able to help 1,626 students.

As you participate in this wonderful community event, please bring one or more items on this list so that you, too, can “Give Christmas Away”!

Please Note: In order to try to get as many people on the ice as possible, we encourage you to sign up for a skate time in advance. If you sign up for a time - please arrive 15 minutes before you're skate time, if you miss your skate time there's no guarantee you will be able to ice skate.

There is extra additional time slots held for friends who join us day of.
