About this Event

FintechNation 26 — Small island, big ambition: Powering Ireland’s fintech future comes to The Round Room at the Mansion House on Tuesday, 22 September, 9.00 to 15.00.

Hosted by the Fintech and Payments Association of Ireland (FPAI), this flagship conference will gather senior leaders from financial services, payments, technology and regulation for a dynamic programme of panel discussions, keynote addresses, tech talks, fintech pitches and networking. Attendees will hear from an exceptional line-up of domestic and international speakers, including Minister Peter Burke; John O’Beirne, FPAI Chair & CEO & Executive Director, Squareup International; Becky Holmes, Author, Journalist and Speaker on Fraud; and Gillian Phelan, Head of Division, Digital Euro Unit, Central Bank of Ireland.
As the sector moves from disruption to delivery and scale, FintechNation 26 will focus on the technologies, business models and policy choices shaping the market now. From AI and fraud prevention to digital assets and regulatory change, the programme will examine how firms can innovate responsibly, compete effectively and scale with confidence.
Europe’s strategic direction will also be a central theme. With the Digital Euro moving closer to implementation and digital sovereignty rising up the policy agenda, speakers will assess what this means for banks, fintechs and payments providers, and how Ireland can help build a trusted, competitive digital financial infrastructure.

Designed for senior decision-makers, founders, investors and policy leaders, FintechNation 26 will provide actionable insights, meaningful connections and a clear view of how a small island can turn strong fintech foundations into global ambition.

Don’t miss this chance to connect with top experts from home and abroad, network with industry peers, and stay at the forefront of fintech innovation. Join us at FintechNation 26 for a day that promises to inspire, inform, and ignite the future of finance!
