Finish Line of the Electrek American Solar Challenge 2026.
The Electrek American Solar Challenge is a collegiate student design competitions. Teams from around the world design and build solar-powered vehicles to compete in the ultimate test of efficiency, endurance, strategy, and teamwork.
This year, the solar cars will travel through 8 states from Minneapolis, MN to Amarillo, TX. Cheer them on as they complete their cross-country trek!
Solar cars will reach the finish line between 12:30PM and 5:00PM. All competing vehicles will be on display after reaching the finish. Event is free to attend and open to all!
