Fine Arts League of Cary Open House During Parade

The Fine Arts League of Cary (FALC) will open its new art gallery to the public during the Cary Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 13, 2025. The art gallery is located at 110 E. Park St., just behind The Mayton. It will be open from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on the 13th, and will offer free refreshments. The Cary Christmas Parade passes nearby on Academy Street from 2:00- 4:00 pm.

On display and available for purchase during the gallery open house will be paintings by local and regional artists who participated in FALC’s recent Art Swarm. These works were created during the recent plein-air painting event in downtown Cary, and many feature familiar scenes from the town.

The FALC Gallery’s regular hours are Thursday through Sundays, 10am - 8pm. On the last Friday of each month the gallery is open for extended hours as it joins with other downtown locations in showcasing the works of local artists during the Cary Art Crawl, from 6:00 – 9:00 pm.

The Cary Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Cary Jaycees, has been an annual tradition in Cary since 1980 and includes more than 100 floats and marching bands. This year, the parade is on Saturday, December 13, from 2 pm to 4 pm.
