We will screen the 19-minute documentary
Finding Justice: The Untold Story of Women’s Fight for the Vote, ** followed by a Q&A with filmmaker and Justice Bell Foundation Executive Director Amanda Owen. **
This compelling film is part present-day detective story and part historical account, tracing the journey of the Justice Bell, a 2,000 lb. bronze replica of the Liberty Bell that toured Pennsylvania in 1915 and became an icon of the American women's suffrage movement. The clapper was chained and muted to represent the silencing of women's voices. Their story shines a light on courage, resilience, and a movement that reshaped American history
