This 2.5 hrs workshop focuses on bone health, hormonal balance, cooling the body to address hot flashes, and calming the nervous system to manage anxiety and sleep disruption.As women, we navigate many shifts and seasons in life, and the transition through menopause is one of the most significant. While this time brings wisdom and strength, it can also come with challenges like hot flashes, anxiety, sleep disturbances, and concerns about bone health.
We believe that your yoga practice can be your most powerful tool during this phase.
I am thrilled to invite you to a deeply supportive and restorative experience: the Finding Balance and Ease: Yoga for (Peri-)Menopause Workshop.
Join me for a specialised 2.5-hour workshop designed to offer you the tools, practices, and support you need to move through this transition with grace and comfort.
What You Will Experience:
Cooling Techniques: Learn specific breath-work (*Pranayama*, like *Sitali*) and restorative poses that help down-regulate the nervous system to actively manage and reduce the intensity of hot flashes and night sweats.
Strength & Bone Health: A mindful sequence of weight-bearing postures to promote bone density and build grounding strength, addressing a key physical concern during menopause.
Deep Rest & Calm: Extended restorative poses (like Supported Fish and Legs-Up-The-Wall) held with props to facilitate deep relaxation, combat fatigue, and improve sleep quality.
Emotional Balance: Gentle movement and seated practices to release stored tension in the hips and pelvis, helping to ease anxiety and emotional fluctuation.
This is a space to slow down, listen to your body, and honour the profound changes you are experiencingβnot to push through them.
The pace will be mindful, slow, and non-competitive, emphasising on the process of feeling the pose, not achieving a final shape. No previous yoga experience required.
Includes use of all props, yoga mat, tea / snacks and a small gift.
