The Cultural Section of the Cyprus High Commission in London is delighted to invite audiences to the London Closing Gala of the UK Cyprus Film Festival 2026, celebrating contemporary Cypriot cinema through a special screening of Find Me Falling, the internationally acclaimed feature film by Cypriot director Stelana Kliris.
Following its worldwide success on Netflix, Find Me Falling introduced contemporary Cyprus to millions of viewers through a moving story of love, belonging and second chances, set against the breathtaking landscapes of the island. Warm, humorous and deeply human, the film has become one of the most internationally recognised Cypriot productions of recent years.
Following the screening, audiences are invited to remain for a live Q&A with director Stelana Kliris and actress Agni Scott. Together they will discuss the making of the film, the creative journey from independent filmmaking to international success, the experience of bringing Cypriot stories to global audiences, and the exciting future of Cypriot cinema.
The conversation will also explore Stelana Kliris' wider body of work, her career as a writer, director and producer, and offer audiences an exclusive insight into her forthcoming projects, including her new feature Apart.
The evening will conclude with a wine reception, providing guests with the opportunity to meet the filmmakers, continue the conversation and celebrate the conclusion of another successful London edition of the UK Cyprus Film Festival.
Throughout 2026, the Festival has celebrated the work of Cypriot women filmmakers through screenings and educational activities in London and across the United Kingdom, in collaboration with universities, cultural institutions and Cypriot communities. This special evening also marks the opening event of the Cultural Section's autumn cultural season.
