About this Event

Unexpected expenses and emergencies can happen to anyone. Whether you're facing a major appliance repair, an unexpected job loss, or recovering from a severe weather event, having a financial preparedness plan can make all the difference in reducing stress and speeding your recovery.

Join us on Tuesday, August 25, from 6:00–7:00 p.m. at the New Lenox Village Hall for this free educational program presented by Lisa McGlasson, a Public Preparedness volunteer with the Will County Emergency Management Agency.

Drawing on more than 34 years of federal service in national preparedness and continuity planning, Lisa will share practical strategies to help individuals and families become financially resilient before life's unexpected challenges arise. Participants will learn simple, actionable steps to organize important financial information, prepare for emergencies regardless of their current financial situation, and develop a financial recovery plan that can help lessen the impact of future setbacks.

Whether you're looking to strengthen your emergency preparedness or simply gain greater peace of mind, this one-hour presentation will provide valuable information and resources to help you protect your financial future.
