About this Event

Financial Markets Foundation for Children (FMFC) exists to promote the health and welfare of children in Australia through the funding of research programs and a wide range of other projects designed specifically to improve the well-being of the future of Australia - our children.

This event will provide an opportunity to hear from the FMFC Chairs of four research areas, each at a leading Australian university: Chair of Developmental Mental Health Professor Dave Coghill (UoM), Chair of Neonatal Paediatrics Professor Rod Hunt (Monash University), Chair of Paediatric Population Health Professor Raghu Lingam (UNSW), and Chair of Translational Childhood Medicine Professor Natasha Nassar (USYD).

It will include a plenary by Professor Sharon Goldfeld on the challenges and opportunities for early childhood development in Australia, and a showcase of early career research presentations.

The Symposium will be followed by a networking event from 4pm.
