These workshops are ideal for anyone receiving Ontario Works or anyone looking to gain more control over their finances. No prior knowledge or experience is needed.

Financial Foundations I: Budgeting for Real Life
Budgeting doesn’t have to be stressful or restrictive. In this workshop, we’ll explore how to create and use a spending plan that works for you and your real-life needs.
You’ll learn how to:
- Understand what a budget is, its purpose, and why it’s a useful tool
- Recognize when it’s the right time to create a budget
- Track income and expenses accurately
- Create a simplified, realistic monthly budget you can stick to
