Before the race, teams will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Once you win the bid, you own that team for the race.

If your team performs, you win a share of the pot.

Anyone can bid — racers, parents, friends, spectators. The more bidding, the bigger the prize pool.

• Teams will be auctioned on race morning before the start

• The highest bidder owns that team for the race
