This gathering will be a little special for another reason, too: it will be our final book club meeting at Lloyd Center before the mall closes and ZRE Music Studio moves into its next home.
Over the past two years, this space has become much more than a studio for us. It’s been a place for lessons, performances, conversations, creativity, community — and some completely nerdy music discussions. It feels fitting that we’ll close this chapter with one of the most influential and endlessly discussable musicians of all time.
As always, please don’t feel pressured to finish the whole book. Miles contains plenty of stories, opinions, chaos, brilliance, and musical history to fuel conversation no matter how far you get.
We hope you’ll join us to celebrate Miles, say goodbye to our first studio home, and spend one more afternoon together at Lloyd Center.
