Join us for the final offering of the Green Screen Series & Eco Film Forum, a thought-provoking and audience-engaging event series hosted by Kootenai Environmental Alliance and the CDA Library. Each month, we're sharing an environmentally focused film to provide insight and spark a conversation about how to approach these topics locally.
Films and discussions will take place in the Coeur d'Alene Library Community Room, from 2:30 - 4pm.
Our final film, on April 18th, is Look & See: A Portrait of Wendell Berry, and it closes out our Earth Day celebration. Join us in watching Look & See: A Portrait of Wendell Berry.
This film is a documentary that explores the shifting values of rural America through the lens of author and farmer Wendell Berry’s agrarian philosophy. The film contrasts traditional land stewardship with the impacts of modern industrial agriculture by blending Berry's own words with interviews from his Kentucky community.
Following the film, we'll have a discussion session with representatives from local farms - Killarney Farms, McKerracher Family Farms, and New Flower Farm.
Mark your calendars and join us Saturday, April 18th at the CDA Library in the Community Room at 2:30pm.
