Ready to bring your stories to the big screen? Join us from Monday, July 27 – Friday, July 31, 2026 (9 a.m. – 1 p.m.) for an intensive, hands-on filmmaking experience at the historic Modesto State Theatre!
Designed for students aged 14–18, this 5-day boot camp covers the essentials of modern video production, including screenwriting, cinematography, sound design, and editing. We provide all the professional gear, cameras, laptops, mics, and lighting so you can focus on creating. The week culminates in a special premiere screening of your finished film on our main stage!
Meet Your Mentors:
We are thrilled to be led by local filmmaking duo Paul Ragsdale and Angelica De Alba of A & P Productions! @a_p_films__ With seven feature films under their belt, this husband-and-wife team brings a wealth of experience in high-energy storytelling, Mexican American identity, and iconic 80s/90s-inspired style. They are passionate about helping the next generation of local storytellers find their voice!
