About this Event
Get an inside look at Georgia’s film and television industry at Film Taster 2026.
Spend the evening learning directly from working industry professionals across a wide range of disciplines, including acting, casting, talent representation, producing, directing, cinematography, screenwriting, broadcast television, film festivals, stunts, special effects makeup, art department, grip, set construction, post-production and more.
Film Taster is designed to help attendees understand how the many departments of a production work together while introducing career paths they may never have considered.
Each attendee will take part in one interactive breakout session focused on a specific area of the industry. You’ll hear real-world experiences, ask questions, and learn directly from professionals who actually do the work.
After the breakout sessions, everyone will come together for a full industry panel and audience Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to hear perspectives from professionals across multiple areas of film and television.

Info: Attendees will participate in one breakout session focused on a specific discipline of the film and television industry. Each room will be led by working professionals who will share real-world experience, explain their area of the industry, and answer questions.
