Local artist and CF Professor Tyrus Clutter will discuss the Czech-German illustrator best known for his work as the art director and character designer for the Beatles’ 1968 film “Yellow Submarine.” Professor Clutter’s Beatles-inspired lithograph drawings with lyrics and music of the Beatles will also be on display. A question-and-answer session about Tyrus’ work will conclude this interactive film series event.
Tyrus Clutter, a Michigan native, is a distinguished artist and educator with a BA in Art from Spring Arbor University and an MFA in Painting from Bowling Green State University. His creative practice encompasses painting, printmaking, and mixed-media assemblage, and his work has been showcased in numerous group and solo exhibitions across North America and Europe.
