Take inspiration from ‘Plus Plus’, the Ukrainian documentary project that uses double exposures to layer military and civilian life in a single frame, then shoot your own roll on the streets of New York.
📷 Learn from project co-creators Leeza Svyrydenko and Yehor Samofal on finding ideas, choosing cameras and film stocks and getting the technical details right.
📷 Get expert guidance from filmmaker Kseniia Opria on a photo walk through New York, and co-create your own project of 36 frames.
📷 No experience needed. Bring a 35mm camera or borrow one of ours.
$125 ($100 for members). Spaces are limited. Register: https://ow.ly/1ici50ZXLiT
About DCTV: New York’s nonprofit home for documentary film and media education, based in a historic firehouse in Chinatown since 1972.
