Invisible Hand: Rights of Nature Documentary is a “paradigm shifting” documentary about the creation of ‘Rights of Nature.’ The defining battle of our times where Nature, democracy and capitalism face off in rural America.
People in Toledo, Ohio, vote to grant Lake Erie the right to exist while others in Grant Township, Pennsylvania, protect groundwater from industrial waste. They, along with Defend Oh:yo’ and Standing Rock, are joined in an international fight to protect more than just water. They fight for their community, democracy, and for Nature as a living entity unto itself. In the end, "Who will speak for Nature?"
Produced in-part by award-winning actor Mark Ruffalo, this film won Best Documentary Feature from the Hollywood Verge Film Awards, Spotlight Documentary Film Awards’ Gold Award, 2021 Common Good International Film Festival Audience Award, and Accolade Global Film Competition Award of Excellence for Documentary.
