This iconic film was brought to you by The Community Planning Association who commissioned The Mummers Troupe to highlight the voices of the East End Downtown neighbourhoods about Plan 91. Plan 91 was a major Arterial 4-Lane highway planned to carve up downtown from Barters Hill to the Newfoundland Hotel.
This would destroy the residential neighbourhood of Downtown St John’s.
