The Footcandle Film Society will be screening the film MIDWINTER BREAK on Wednesday, April 8 and Thursday, April 9 at the Carolina Theater in Hickory, NC at 7:00pm both nights.
The screening is free to Footcandle Film Society members; all others and guests are $7.00 at the door.
About the film: MIDWINTER BREAK (based on a 2017 novel by Bernard MacLaverty) is an intimate drama about a retired Irish couple, Stella and Gerry, whose marriage fractures during a tense weekend trip to Amsterdam. The story focuses on the quiet realities of aging, long-term love, addiction, and religious faith, as they confront decades of buried trauma and personal differences.
