In appreciation of the farmworkers and farmers who grow and harvest the food we enjoy, the Kent County Food Policy Council and the Kent District Library are pleased to co-host a film screening of Did You Guys Eat? ¿Ya comieron? The documentary shares the vital stories of farm workers and migrant laborers in Michigan, highlighting the dedicated network of supporters who stand behind them. This film is not just about farming — it’s about the people, their stories, and the invisible systems that bring every meal to our tables.

This is an invite-only event meant to nurture understanding and spark community discussion on how we can advocate for and promote a good food system in Kent County. After the film, we will host a panel discussion featuring the film’s director & producer, farm workers, and support service leaders.
