AINDA HÁ MORADORES AQUI (THERE ARE STILL RESIDENTS HERE) (2025)
In the midst of ghost neighbourhoods, the documentary exposes the scars of the industrial disaster caused by the mining company Braskem in Maceió, Alagoas, Brazil. Ainda há moradores aqui (There Are Still Residents Here) gives a face and a voice to preserve the memory of people who resist and fight for justice and reparation.

Isadora Padilha is an architect and urban planner from Alagoas, founder and president of the Institute for the Development of Alagoas – IDEAL. She coordinates the project Cidade de Afetos ("City of Affects"), an initiative to promote educational heritage for the residents and former residents of the sinking neighbourhoods in Maceió, Alagoas. In this context, she is also one of the authors of the book "Rasgando a Cortina de Silêncios" ("Tearing the Curtain of Silences") and the “Catalogue Narratives of Resistance – Braskem Case" and is part of the production team of the documentary film "Ainda há moradores aqui” (There Are Still Residents Here).
This is an event which is part of the Summer School 'Thinking beyond today. Shaping an Environmentally Just Future', but is open to the public.
