ABOUT THE EVENT:
This event focus on developing specific skills taught by experienced instructors. Topics include camera operation, lighting, storyboarding, sound and other essential aspects of filmmaking and content creation. These training sessions help participants expand their technical knowledge and confidence.
Limited to 25 Participants
This session will allow participants to receive an introduction to:
π‘ Lighting
π Sound
π¬ Producing
π· Camera
This foundational session offers a brief hands-on production experience at the end of the session.
Participants that complete this session will be eligible to participate in an upcoming test shoot as well as a live music video shoot.
ABOUT OUR TEAM:
Tyler Faires, Faires Wheel Films; Tyler Faires is a filmmaker from Northern California. Since a young age Tyler has been creating. Starting off with his Dad's VHS camera and then moving on to The Art Institute of Santa Monica, Tyler focuses his efforts on telling compelling and fact based documentaries about people and ideas that educate and expand viewers' minds. .
Tyler Lockamy, Archetype Pictures; Executive Producer, The Dresden Sun; Tyler Lockamy is a multiple award-winning film producer based in Redding, Ca. Tyler has been on set as an actor, director, and all around "get it done" guy, as is common on many independent film sets. He has also assisted in story development and produced multiple short films, music videos and TV pilots. Tyler most recently was on set as the Executive Producer for The Dresden Sun, the largest scale production that based in Shasta County on record with more than 90% filmed locally. The film is the second project Los Angeles-based Director Michael Ryan and Producer Tyler Lockamy with Archetype Pictures, have selected to film in Shasta County. The first was Interpreters: a C & Earth Chronicle - quantum 1, has won 6 awards, including Best Picture at the Kapow Intergalactic Film Fest and Best Feature Film at the Idyllwild Int. Cinema Fest.
Kevin Kewley, Kevin Kewley is a Redding-based cinematographer known for his intentional, cinematic approach to commercial and documentary work. He came to filmmaking with the belief that film is the most powerful way to tell stories, and that the world is hungry for good stories to be told.
Tom Green, T.L. Green is an independent filmmaker with over ten years of industry experience. Based in Redding, California, he founded Creators Co., a creative collective dedicated to empowering emerging local artists and filmmakers to bring their visions to life through production support and collaboration..
