This film highlights the healing power of art and “music during times of unrest, both past and present and “the importance of history to our spiritual well-being”. the film features greats like Roy Ayers and Sheila E., and concert performances by Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, Sly and the Family Stone, and more. – Criterion Pictures
The collection of films selected for Arthouse Cinema at NPCC have been chosen to offer a source of inspiration, conversation, and connection, and to bring certain artistic elements to light and screen that may speak to artists looking for a creative spark.
