Friday the 27th of September, join host Samuel Perez from Pearson College for the Metchosin Film night. We will screen the Documentary: 'BLACKFISH" a 1 hour and 23 minute documentary, starting at 7pm at the Metchosin Community House.The story of Tilikum, a captive killer whale that has taken the lives of several people, underscores problems within the sea-park industry, man's relationship to nature, and how little has been learned about these highly intelligent mammals.
Blackfish is an aggressive, impassioned documentary that will change the way you look at performance killer whales.
We will have a chance to have a short discussion with the public afterwards. A Marine Biologist will join us to lead it.
