We are so excited to announce an amazing partnership with local filmmaker Maximus Wright, who will dive into the world of filmmaking. Does your Girl Scout have an interest in screenwriting, video, or acting? Join us as we turn Camp Wahi in Brandon, MS, into a movie set and shoot our own short film while learning all the roles and responsibilities needed to create a movie. Girls are not required to be filmed to complete the badges. Cadette Girl Scouts who complete the required activities will earn their Digital Movie Maker and Screenwriter badges.
Girls will need to bring their daypacks with a water bottle, bug spray, and sunscreen. Everyone will need a sack lunch. Check-in starts at 9:30 a.m. Girls must be accompanied by an adult, and troops should have the correct girl-to-adult ratio.
