At Dusk I Kiss Your Body Burnt
Victor “Yayo” Meza, 2024, Mexico/USA
A poetic short film that follows a young man as he remembers the touch of his lover against the hyper-militarized and hyper-surveilled U.S.-Mexico borderlands where he grew up. Addressed as a letter to his lost lover, the film grapples with how queer bodies experience and express desire amidst bordercraft and state violence.
Wherever That May Be
E.N. Cole, 2025, USA, 12 min
In this story, we follow the journey of Rose, a young woman whose life is turned upside down when her health takes a turn. She moves back in with her outgoing, fun loving grandmother named Jo. Their dynamic challenges a stereotype of what it means to be healthy and what society typically expects of women their respective ages.
