The North Pennines National Landscape team and the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority, present an evening of free short films. The films have been made possible with funding from The National Lottery, with thanks to National Lottery players.
1. Award-winning short, ‘Farming on the Edge’ follows hill farmer Paul Johnson, highlighting how farming and nature can work together in harmony.
2. ‘Tees-Swale: Naturally Connected’ explores how the North Pennies National Landscape team and The Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority have partnered with farmers and landowners to protect nature, restore and connect habitats, across two protected landscapes.
3. Visually impaired groups visit Hannah’s Meadow– This film shows how the Tees- Swale: Naturally Connected programme made opportunities for visually impaired people to connect with nature.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion, offering an opportunity to hear directly from those involved in farming and nature recovery. This free event is aimed at people who love the countryside and want to find out more about the people living and working in the area.
