This December the Totally Together Collective is hosting our first ever FILM FESTIVAL and we want to show your work! #Film4Film will be a community short film festival featuring local indie films (up to 15 mins) on a large screen cinema format. All stories are welcome! Submit a previously made clip or make something new to share with our community.
Films will be reviewed and selected by a board of judges to ensure content is respectful and not promoting violence or hate speech - but please feel free to let your FREAK FLAG FLY!
Submit your work to [email protected] by November 25 to be considered for the festival. Directors will be able to introduce and speak to their work for up to 5 minutes before their screening.
This event is a fundraiser towards opening a community center space for the collective. We will also be making a donation to support the Dzunuk'wa Society - Wild Women of the Woods, Fairy Creek Forest Guardians education program. (https://fundrazr.com/c26mz1?ref=ab_828SDjAFhfC828SDjAFhfC)
Doors for the event open at 6:30 and the screenings will begin at 7PM. This event will be 19+ and have food and alchoholic drinks available for purchase.
Tickets are $25. Must have a ticket to enter. Promo code available for film directors and low income, dm for details.
Seating will be picnic style so bring your blankets and get cozy! Accessible chair seating also available. Street parking available and in the Johnson St Parkade.
