Fill The Trunk Show & Shine for the USO

The Gulf Coast Regional Mustang Club invites all wheels to Fill the Trunk, a Show and Shine car show with a purpose, benefiting the USO. The event runs from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at the Walmart on 8970 Pensacola Blvd. in Pensacola. Drivers can arrive straight from work, and refueling on site is welcome. Admission comes in the form of donations from the club's wish list, which includes individually wrapped protein bars, beef jerky, trail mix, nuts, single-serve bags of chips, dried fruit, and individual cereal, along with bottled water, single-serve coffee and tea packets, and flavor enhancers such as Crystal Light. The USO also needs pillows, pillowcases, blankets, and exodus supplies. Awards will go to People's Choice, Walmart Choice, USO Choice, and Most Items Collected.
