The Fill the Pack 5K is a fun race to benefit the Zion Lutheran Church's "Snack Pack" program which provides food for food insecure students at Oak Grove Elementary School.7:30 a.m. – Run/Walk
9:00 a.m. – Awards on the football field
Packet pickup – 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, at Gator Commons, River Bluff High School, 320 Corley Mill Road, Lexington SC 29072.
The 5k course is a loop around the beautiful River Bluff campus, allowing competitors to walk and run over bridges and nature paths, beginning and ending in our state-of-the-art football stadium, The Swamp! This also allows athletes to pass aid stations every 1 mile and spectators to be able to see their runners. The campus will be closed to all moving traffic throughout the race – your safety is our top concern.
Professional Timing Service will be provided by Strictly Running Timing with a $30 registration fee per runner. This is a USATF-certified course.
Proceeds from the event benefit the "Snack Pack" program at Zion Lutheran Church, which collects food for hungry children at Oak Grove Elementary School to have enough to eat on the weekends.
