Enjoy a morning break that includes conversation with coffee and bagels from The Sweet Spot.Join us for a conversation on how the Whitewater Unified School District is preparing students for successful futures through career and life readiness initiatives. Michael Rick, Career and Technical Education Coordinator, will share how the district is expanding career awareness, exploration, and work based learning opportunities that connect students with local businesses and organizations. These partnerships not only help students build real world skills, they also create a valuable and often untapped workforce pipeline right here in our community.
In addition, Chamber members will have the opportunity to share what they look for when hiring youth employees, helping to shape future programming and ensure our students are equipped to meet the needs of local employers.
