FIHS Homecoming Parade – “Soaring Through the Trends!” – is Thursday, September 11th at 6p.m. Since we will be dancing in the Parade there will be no classes that day. Meet on the FIHS campus in the Junior parking lot which is by the baseball field no later than 5:45. 2 years ago the parade traveled from FIHS, around the roundabout and back to the stadium (they cancelled last year’s parade due to a hurricane). We do not go to the stadium, we will turn to the left before the stadium into the teacher training parking/grassy lot. PLEASE MEET US THERE UPON ARRIVAL WE WILL NOT ALLOW ANY STUDENT TO LEAVE OUR SIGHT WITHOUT AN ADULT, SO PLEASE DO NOT ASK THEM TO MEET YOU SOMEWHERE ELSE. If you plan to walk with us please purchase a studio shirt in the lobby and stay behind dancers. You can also bring candy and pass out to the crowd if you want!
Twinkling Tots and Shining Starz will be riding in the trailer and everyone else will be dancing. Parents of little ones be prepared to walk if the trailer fills up with dancers!
ATTIRE FOR THE PARADE: pink Season 24 ASD logo shirt, black leggings (purchase in the lobby) and sneakers. Black joggers for boys. Company dancers wear performance apparel. Level 1-4 dancers wear hair slicked back center part low ponytail, all others wear high ponytail. If it is too short to go into a ponytail, please pull the sides up and leave the remainder down. You may include ribbons.
If you would like to participate, please print and sign the permission slip and bring with you to the parade.
