This reoccuring event is for the weekly Fighting Games Tournaments hosted by the Des Moines Training Ground group!
Low cost of $5 cover at the door (or free for Des Moines Gaming Club members) and $5 for each bracket you enter. Spectators are welcome!
Des Moines Training Ground at the Des Moines Gaming Club is the hub for Fighting Game Events in Des Moines Iowa.
Des Moines Training Ground is part of Iowa's Fighting Game Community. Street Fighter, Marvel, KOF and more! Enter the 29th Chamber!
Popular fighting games in the esports and competitive gaming scene include Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, King of Fighers XV, and Mortal Kombat 1.
Des Moines Training Ground runs three main types of events currently with hopes to grow and include more.
1) EVERY WEDNESDAY they run locals which will feature two tournaments
Event runs from approximately 5:30 to 10:00pm with brackets starting at 7:00 and 7:30pm
$5 venue fee then another $5 each for the brackets

2) EVERY OTHER SUNDAY drop by for casual Sunday event with no tournaments
Event Runs from 11:00 to 5:00 and you can arrive at any time
$5 venue fee and the venue will have affordable snacks and drinks for purchase
Do not need to sign up but link will always be
3) ONCE A MONTH They run SNAPBACK the main monthly tournament
Event runs from 11:00 to 7:00 with first bracket being at 12:30
$10 Venue fee then another $10 for each bracket you wish to enter
