Fight Like a Highlander
Have you ever wondered how the Highlanders fought with their swords? Drawing on written accounts from the 18th century, your instructor will guide you safely through the steps as you learn to spar with boffer padded swords (common swords used for teaching historical fencing). You will learn how to move, cut, and defend yourself using Highland fencing instructions from the 18th century.
This is an active event so please wear comfortable clothing and flat soled trainers.
This workshop is designed for children aged 9 - 14, children must be accompanied by an adult.
FREE PARKING when you show your Eventbrite ticket to our parking attendant on the day of the event. Adults must accompany children but don't need to purchase a ticket.
