Fight For a Cause
About this Event
Fight For A Cause (FFAC) is a student-run charity boxing event at Queen's University. Now in its second year, FFAC brings together student boxers from Queen's and Western alongside amateur boxers for a night of live fights at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Kingston. All bouts are sanctioned by Boxing Ontario.
Every dollar raised goes to Jack.org, Canada's largest youth mental health charity. Jack.org was founded in memory of Jack Windeler, a first-year Queen's student, and it began right here in Kingston. It trains and supports young people to talk openly about mental health and look out for one another.
Last year's event sold out with 350 attendees, 12 fights, and $10,000 raised for Jack.org.
