Fight Against Human Trafficking
About this Event
Join Southern Arizona Against Slavery (SAAS) for a powerful and educational community training featuring Special Agent Heidi Chance, nationally recognized human trafficking expert, author, and former undercover investigator.
In today’s digital world, predators have unprecedented access to children and teens through social media, gaming platforms, messaging apps, and online communities. During this eye-opening presentation, Heidi will equip parents, grandparents, educators, youth leaders, and community members with practical tools to recognize online dangers, identify grooming tactics, understand current trafficking trends, and confidently engage in conversations that help protect children.
Following the training, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the work of Southern Arizona Against Slavery and discover meaningful ways to get involved through volunteer opportunities, community outreach, survivor support initiatives, and our annual Human Trafficking Awareness Walk.
Whether you’re a parent wanting to keep your family safe or someone looking to make a difference in the fight against human trafficking, this event will provide both the knowledge and the opportunity to take action.
