Against all odds, questionable decisions, and the occasional over-poured whiskey, I’ve somehow made it to 50.
That seems worthy of a proper celebration.
Join us at The Smoking Elk for an evening of smoked meats, smoked cocktails, good whiskey, great company, and the sort of general merriment that tends to improve as the glasses get emptier.
There will be plenty to eat, plenty to drink, music in the background, stories that have probably gotten better with age, and absolutely no expectation that anyone behave like a responsible 50-year-old.

We’ll raise a glass to the first five decades, conveniently ignore how quickly they went by, and celebrate the fact that age is really just a number.
