Join us for a historic evening celebrating 50 years of The Stony Thursday Book, one of Ireland's longest-running and most cherished poetry journals.
This special celebratory reading brings together poets from across five decades; every voice that has graced the pages of this beloved Limerick publication is invited to share their work once more.
From the journal's founding to the present day, The Stony Thursday Book has been a testament to Limerick's enduring commitment to poetry and creative expression. Now, as part of April is Poetry Month in Limerick 2026, we gather to reconnect generations of poets and celebrate a legacy that has shaped Irish literary culture.
Whether you were published in the 1970s or last year, your voice is part of this story.
Experience fifty years of poetic voices in one room. Witness Limerick's vital contribution to Irish poetry. Be part of literary history.
All poets ever published in The Stony Thursday Book are warmly invited to participate.
