📚 Book Talk & Discussion with Nilanjan P. Choudhury (novelist & playwright)

A conversation on Nilanjan P. Choudhury's recent book Encounters with Infinity: Three Lives, Science and History, exploring the people, ideas, and historical events that shape science.

The Square Root of a Sonnet (4.00 - 6.00 PM) explores the fascinating relationship between Nobel Laureate Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar and his mentor Arthur Eddington against the backdrop of two world wars and revolutionary discoveries in astrophysics. Language: English
The Trial of Abdus Salam (7.00 - 8.30 PM) is an imagined courtroom drama that examines the life, legacy, and dilemmas of the first Muslim Nobel Prize-winning scientist who remained unacknowledged in the land of his birth. Language: English

Through theatre, workshops, discussions, and interactive experiences, the festival invites audiences to encounter science not as a collection of facts, but as a deeply human experience of creativity, curiosity, and imagination.
