About the Conference:
Contemporary educational institutions stand at the centre of global struggles, navigating complex economic pressures and shifting cultural paradigms. Are schools and universities merely instruments of social reproduction, or can they serve as vital spaces for critical thinking, social mobilisation, and emancipatory alternatives?
This year’s event fosters an interdisciplinary dialogue on the profound intersection of education, community building, and practices of resistance. Bridging academic theory with everyday classroom reality, the programme features scholarly research alongside frontline educators sharing insights into critical pedagogy and democratic participation.
