We are honored to invite you to join us for our fifth annual Wave of Light. This event is held across from the Boat House on the walkway along the creek. You will see us from the road.
Heritage Consulting is hosting the fifty annual Wave of Light memorial luminary walk on October 15th, in honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, at 7pm CST, in observance of the Wave of Light around the world in memory of all the babies lost too soon. Together, we share a twenty four hour period of time where we stop and honor those we love but who could not stay with us.
We will have luminaries lining the walkway and a space for parents, families, friends, and other members of our bereavement community, to take photos together. Please linger as long as you need.
We will have a few readings and say the names of our little ones at 715pm. If you wish to say something, please let me know ahead of time.
The cost for a luminary is $15.00 per family and this covers a luminary with your baby or babies name written on it. Attending the walk is free of charge for anyone who wishes to attend.
We encourage you to bring your weighted bears, urns, teddies, memory boxes, photos, keepsakes, or any other items to include in your family photo to honor your baby's memory. We are supportive and understanding of these intimate and treasured items and will treat them and you with honor and respect.
This event is open to all families who have experienced miscarriage, embryo loss, stillbirth, SIDS, or any other death resulting from pregnancy and infant loss in the Saint Louis metro area.
