Join the Fifth Annual SEF 5K Fun Run and Walk & Support Saratoga Schools!
The Saratoga Education Foundation (SEF) is excited to host its Fifth Annual 5K Fun Run and Walk on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 9 a.m. The start and finish line will be at Redwood Middle School, 13925 Fruitvale Avenue. Each year, SEF relies on family and community contributions to provide enrichment opportunities for students across the Saratoga Union School District.
The SEF 5K brings together 600–800 runners, walkers, families, and community supporters for a fun morning through Saratoga neighborhoods, with a Kids Dash for ages five and under, food trucks, awards, raffles, games, and more. Register for the 5K and bring the whole family!
Businesses and community partners can also support our schools by becoming a 5K sponsor. The event offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with hundreds of local families and community members, with sponsorship benefits that may include your business logo on participant T-shirts.
Calling all SUSD 5th–8th grade artists! Enter the SEF 5K Medal Design Contest by October 1 for a chance to have your winning design featured on the medals awarded to racers at the 5K medal ceremony. For our 5th graders, the contest is also a wonderful opportunity to showcase the creativity and design skills they are developing in Makerspace, an enrichment program funded by SEF.
